    I'm bringing name tags. Seriously.

Let me know if I can help with breakfast. This is not my first rodeo. I have the grills and the skills.

A few of us will be there Thurs., in the general campground, not the group site. We will move over to the group area on Friday AM.

    Deep Lake Group Site

    --------------UPDATE------------

    From sr1355/Paul and Gargoyle/Randy.

We will be camping at the Deep Lake group area. The cost breaks down to $10 per person. Kids are free. This is a no alcohol campground. Be respectful.

Bring a dish to pass. Breakfast Lunch Dinner or Snacks donations are greatly appreciated, your choice. Paul and Missy are graciously donating some meals, but lets all lend a hand.

Vault toilets and pump water are centrally located to the sites. We will have several tables and fire pits.

We will have Nametags for all.

Thursday camping is optional. It will be at your added expense for a site in the general campground.

Canoeing/kayaking on the Thornapple River will be Saturday afternoon-ish, weather permitting.

Biking and hiking the local trails are up to you and yours. Come and go as you please. Or organize a group event while at camp.

Out of state hangers that would like to defray the cost of entry, we have off site parking available. We can arrange shuttles from the parking location to the campground. If you need off site parking, please pm me/gargoyle and make arrangements/exchange phone numbers, etc..

    See you all there. G

Work is actually co-operating so this is looking like a go. I have a State pass on my plates and will be driving solo. With that said I volunteer to shuttle people if they need it.

$10/person Fee will be collected at the event, MissyLou will keep tabs on those that have paid so be sure to pay or SHE WILL HUNT YOU DOWN!!!

Fee covers cost of camping for the group as well as firewood and several small misc expenses such as name tags. If we have left over funds we will donate those funds to the NCT which passes right through Yankee Springs Rec Area.

$10/person is a great deal for an AWESOME weekend hanging with old friends and making some new ones.

    Kids are free...

Without going back thru the 13 pages to see if it's already been mentioned and the google doc isn't opening right now, so I'm going to suggest that maybe each carload bring a bundle of firewood from a LOCAL dealer (local b/c of emerald ash borer issues) They may even have it at the park but typically Meijer and local gas stations have some as well. That time of year it could the weather could be crazy hot or crazy cold or anywhere in between. Either way I think we'll want a fire.
Also a reminder not to forget a proper camp chair, this is car camping so bring a lazy-boy if you want.
    Good luck,
