    Optimator, I'm not familiar enough with the Claytor JH to comment. I briefly owned a Claytor no-net that had a strap threaded through a hem in the hammock ends, but I wouldn't think a more sophisticated hammock would be done like that. Maybe someone else can chime in???

    Well, I got it done. Pictures are in this thread http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=7619 I don't really like the way it bunches up the end of the hammock tho. I think I'll cut the strap a few inches under the buckle, sew in a new loop, and use rope thru the hammock channel.
