When I was a kid the only time we were in the house was to eat and sleep.
Big West Virginia welcome. Lots of fellow women hangers here. Took me a while before I went to a group hang, but sure glad I did. I have met some very, very nice people through the forums. We get together whenever we can.
If you are up in WV some, give me a yell and I will show you around the Dolly Sods Wilderness area.
Welcome from Garner. A group hang a little closer to you, and me, is the Yates Place Nov. 1st. Hot Springs will be worth the drive I am sure. I am planning on doing both. I am still new as hangers go. Just about a year into it. It is not difficult, it is just fun.
Hello from a fellow female in NC Just did my first overnight hang while family camping last weekend. It was great! I look forward to meeting some forum folks at a few of the hangs this summer/fall. Happy belated birthday - terrific gift!

Welcome, from another new member from Ga.
Welcome and enjoy your hangs!
Welcome, from an Old Broad in NE Florida! Find a hang and go, even just for the day - you won't regret it. The 2nd Annual Florida Hang was my very first night in a hammock, and I've never looked back. The 4th Annual is coming up in January and I'm planning for it already!
