New to hanging. Have Clark NX250 hanging in living room on stand I made. Have been adjusting straps to get hammock to most comfortable position. Finally settled on a spot. Today I checked angle of straps with a good angle finder. Low and behold, 29 degrees on one side and 30 on other. I guess that recommended 30 degrees is pretty close.

Besides the comfort that is what I love about hammocking is the constant tinkering and adjusting and scratching my head then more tinkeringand then when you get it all figured out Dutch comes up with some new hardware or a forum member comes up with a new idea on how to improve on an improvement that has been improved 15 times

Welcome to the form from Indpls IN, I am currently nestled in my ENO DN in the back yard and its 69 out right now and I am using my PLUQ and a fleece blanket enjoying the hammock bliss and some country music on the radio...and as Hancock45 would say....life is good
