It was bound to happen. I had to bail...twice in a weekend. Glad we were in the back yard. Check it out at http://getoutga.wordpress.com/2013/0...heck-happened/

Tough break! Thanks for sharing, at least you got a good blog post out of it.

Ha! Yep, adversity sometimes makes the best blog posts. If everything worked out perfect all the time life would be a lot more dull...
Thanks for reading...
I hear ya. Went out about 10:00 last night, laid there looking up at the stars. Then there were no stars. Then I woke up at 1:30 freezing my but off so I bailed too.
I had a night like that a couple weeks ago. The bugs weren't really that bad, but there was one who insisted on buzzing in my ear. I just couldn't get comfortable and finally went inside and slept
We all try to avoid those rough nights but they bit when you least expect...
That they do. Will be back at it this coming weekend though. Hope to have a chance to whip up a Fronkey-inspired bugnet this week to try. Next in line will be one of dejoha's HUG nets if we get that far.
I kinda like the idea of bring fully enclosed but also like to be able have access from either side (OK, I'm probably weird, I get in my hammock on one side and exit from the other) so I want to give the Fronkey-style net a try first
Tough go of it. Quote from a Kenny Rogers song; "You gotta know when to hold them and know when to fold them." Thanks for sharing.
