Looks good.nice job
I just did this same thing last week. You beat me to the posting of the pics though.
In my case I went from a shorter hammock to a longer one and I didn't want to sew a new bugnet (all my sewing time needs to be dedicated to an UQ right now). I needed about an extra foot of ridgeline length on the Fronkey bugnet I had already made. Fortunately I always keep any scrap material I have around, so I had plenty of noseeum netting to modify the project. Only took around 20 minutes, and I am the slowest thread injector in the world.
Also, if you are counting the grams, (I'm not, but it's worth mentioning) I think I saved around 3-4 grams doing it this way, rather than just making a larger bugnet.
Happy Hanging!
Just did the same thing last week.
Only real difference, besides some grosgain, was a little shockcord to attach the net to the suspension.
That and not making the cuts for the trap shape. This allows me to stretch the net over the ends of the hammock when not in use.

Any idea how much one of these weighs? Vs a no-see-um net?
What about stuffed size?
