I do still use mine for some shots. Hand-held is what I do the most but the SP still gets those full frame walking-talking shots.

iStabilzer also has several products in this category. The plain Mount and the Mount XL should work for phones and flip cameras...I haven't gotten one yet, but I think TallPaul uses one successfully.

There are a number of photo apps that have self timer capabilities. Many are free for just 99 cents.

I use the gorillapod app.

I was not expecting to get it for a while yet but my Muku Shutter just got here and it looks like it works great. An alternative to self timer apps. Just pair it and click away with Bluetooth. Going to be trying it out a bunch at the Idaho Hang next week.

This would be perfect if instead of a bolt on the bottom, it went straight to a StickPic-esque dilly to attach it to a trekking pole.
