    Tarp sizing

I'm currently waiting on an 11' Thunderbird from Dream Hammocks/ Pappa Smurf and was curious if the 11' tarp would be adequate coverage or if I'd need to increase to a 12'. Thanks for the help. Tried e-mailing HG last week but they must be busy at ORS, filling orders or just out on the trail.

How long is the hammock you are going to be covering? 11' is plenty for most hammocks out there but 12' offers just a little extra if you have a longer hammock. An 11' hammock means roughly an 108" ridgeline. If you have an 11' tarp then that leaves around 12" of tarp extending past each end of the hammock.

11' has a 110" ridge line. Thanks for the feedback! Leaning towards the 12'

I think that would be better for the longer hammock.
