New to the middle Tennessee area and would like to get involved with the group around here. Only one trip under my belt so still very green to the hammock camping idea , butt I have been camping my whole life . Looking forward to October and looking to meet some new faces around here.

There's plenty of good pre-made and/or pre-cooked stuff one can take. I take Ceasar salad mixes and home-grown tomatoes, as there's rarely anything "vegetable" to eat at these hangs. They appear to have an aversion to anything not "meat" or "dessert."

Too bad, so sad! If I'm able to attend, I'm bringing Ceasar salad. No one has to eat it, though last time four whole bags went in less than 10 minutes, I noticed.

no it just shows how cheap you are. People bring dutch ovens, smokers, cook up meat and veggies while they are there. People spend a lot of time to do those things while you pop open a bag of salad
