I use dynaglide UCRs and I have to be very careful. Dyna whoopies are great if you are within the weight tolerance. My UCRs have slipped, but only when someone came over and messed with them. The UCRs knock off quite a bit of bulk, but for weight savings alone, the whoopies are great and very simple.

I was thinking of doing some Dynaglide whoopies with Dutch hooks for the kids. They are only 50lbs so the weight shouldn't be an issue. Dutch hooks are designed around Amsteel. Do you think they would work with Dyna whoopies or would the smaller diameter of the rope pick up some wear where the hook is sitting? This maybe a question for the Dutchware forum.

I use Dutch Whoopie Hooks with dynaglide. They work just fine and I love the ease that comes with that system.

I made some Dynaglide Whoopies and used them for quite a while. I noticed some fraying at the bury so went back to the Amsteel figuring it would take a little longer for the bury to frey.

There is a thread around here with caveman testing his dynaglide UCRs... He is 210ish I think in the video, he bounces pretty hard on those bad boys and they don't break or slip on him... I sleep on a pair all the time, no issues with the dynaglide or the UCR in general... Just make sure and tighten down the bury before adding load...

I've been using dynaglide whoopies for a while and am planning on converting to ucr soon. I'm 200 lbs and have never had a problem

I converted a pair of amsteel whoopies into amsteel UCRs... Even have left over material for making your continuous loops for the hammock attachment... Don't see why it wouldn't work on dynaglide...
