Panther creek, tecumseh tr 8-16 trip

There are several of us going to Panther Creek on Friday the 16th of August. We are staying 2 nights. BRING A CHAIR if you can.
We are meeting at the trailhead which is on Crooked Creek Road.
The road is found about 5 miles West of Nashville on 46. Crooked Creek Road goes SOUTH from 46. 3 or 4 miles up the road you come to Crooked Creek Lake on the left. Our trailhead is found another mile SOUTH on the road on the left. The parking area is called the Tecumseh Trailhead Handicapped Accessible Parking Lot.
I am attaching four maps to get you to the parking area. Once at the parking area the Tecumseh Trail heads East and South East.
The trail to the end of the Tecumseh which ends in Panther Creek is a couple miles long. IT IS WELL MARKED WITH WHITE BLAZES. On the trail there is one Y. At the Y take the left trail going down into Panther Creek. Once you get to Panther Creek, go downstream, (right) for several minutes where we will be camped.
There is a group meeting at the ice cream shop at the junction of 46 and 446 outside of Bloomington toward Nashville. They are meeting at 1:30.
PM me for a list of phone numbers of some of those going. So far, Trail Medic, Hanger for Life, rcam77 and myself, Mule. We are going no matter what the weather throws at us.
These maps will show the relationship between Crooked Creek Lake and the Parking lot at the Tecumseh Trail, the relationship between 46 and Crooked Creek Lake and a rough guess of where the trail takes you.
On the trail, it heads UP for the first quarter mile, seems like it never stops climbing, then it's pretty flat till you get to the Y and the switchbacks. When you get to the bottom of the switchbacks you will see a wooden sign that says End of the Tecumseh Trail. If you see that sign you are at Panther Creek.
We hope many of you can come, the more the merrier. Please post your intentions here and we will begin to exchange phone numbers.
An email will go out to all those on the Short Notice List. Everyone welcome!
    Happy Hangin, Hoosiers and all.

    Mule
CORRECTION, THE FIRST PHOTO SHOWS THE PARKING AREA TOO CLOSE TO CROOKED CREEK LAKE, ITS ABOUT 3/4 WAY DOWN THE PHOTO ON THE ROAD. SORRY

rcam77, take a look at he google map i just posted, that's as close to getting the co ordinances as I can get. Used to the google map would tell you the co ordinances as you moved the curser, but not anymore for me.
