Stuff is great! Feels very nice against the skin. I've got some fairly big scraps, I'll see if I can get the slide-rule out after dindin.
    Trust nobody!

Depends on what you are looking for and what is the most important to you: weight, feel, advanced DWR or price.

Weight - it's a toss-up,, it appears they weigh about the same.

feel - only you can decide that. I know that the 1.1 ripstop we got feels real good - soft and silky to everybody here. But this is a very personal decision.

DWR - if you feel that it will be exposed to a lot of splash, mist or standing water, then maybe the Momentum would be better.

price - momentum is about double the price.

We decided that for us, it is best to not expose to a lot of splash up and that for whatever small difference the feel might be, for us it wasn't worth double the price.

Make sure that the uncoated you get is down-proof if you are using down. Ed quotes his as being down proof I think. I'm pretty sure Tru-Hiker and Rockywoods do also.

he wants to make an underquilt.

I would choose 1.1 ripstop over momentum for an UQ. Just cause im cheap!
for a top quilt tho, momentum is king. but i will never try livermush. my 2¢
