Just for curiosity (which might make me sell everything for a BB);
How is the BB compared to the HHULBA?
What I'm interested in is if it is a flatter lay and if you still need something under your knees when lying down.

This thread might clear up the differences.....lori's post specifically has some good insight on the differences. http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=7750
Thanks rushthezeppelin. I was just going to do that but you beat me by 1 minute!
here's another thread:

I won't make you hunt down other threads - I just got my BB last week. I hung it Shug-style (the strap option with a couple of 'biners) in a minute or two. The triangular ring buckles are super sweet, it makes for a very simple, fast and sturdy hanging system
Here's my take: it takes a bit longer to find the "sweet spot" than it does in my HH, but I do think you get a flatter lie and *bonus* you get multiple comfortable positions (you can sleep with your feet in the footbox, or on the other diagonal). After a few tries and a little adjustment, I was able to get a super flat lie. I did not feel the need to put anything under my knees as I do in my HH. I also love the top entry and ability to open up, and will be getting a zipper put in my HH for that purpose. Only downside: it's heavier than my HH, but worth it IMO. It will be my hammock of choice, and the HH will be for friends who tag along.
