Keep those bugs out of your face

I just returned from a section hike along the AT in Maryland ....

Bugs weren't bad at all so I left the bugnet in the pack. The better half had bought me a el officio bug away bandana before the trip .... I started tying it into a gear loft hanging off my ridgeline at night for my glasses, etc.

When the few bugs that were out showed up I just pulled the "loft" over my head and they lit out for other targets ...


I thought it may prove useful for others ...

I use a bandana soaked in permethrin, also hang it on my ridgeline at night. Works very well for me.
