So I was in the market for a big ole' honkin tarp for both winter use and summer use when I'm hanging two hammocks close together. I hemmed and hawed and considered several possibilities, until I saw RAW's 12x10 winter tarp from Brian.
I had to have it!
RAW's original thread discussing his tarp is here:

But I couldn't leave well enough alone. I had Brian add six additional tieout points, basically in the center of each of the large cat cuts. This will give me the ability to hang the tarp with a 10' ridgeline and six foot sides, very convenient for two-hammock hangs. It'll also give the ability to do baker's hut style pitches, as well as a few other nifty tricks I've dreamed up.
I have my dissertation defense next Tuesday, so I will not get a chance to set the tarp up and demonstrate the different pitches for a little while, but I will be home free after the defense, so I promise to post lots of pictures as soon as I've got time for a breather.
Thanks Brian for making one sweet tarp!
