longer triangle on a bridge hammock

There are lots of threads on making a Ridgerunner triangle shorter but I am ok with the stock length on my RR. However I am considering changing
to amsteel on my Jrb bridge.

The question is if I make the triangle longer, closer to the RR length would
I gain much more in stability.

I believe the longer triangle makes hammocks feel less tippy but I
need answers from more informed sources.

Hi Joker ,was just thinking about you the other day.
    How have you been?
Lengthening your triangle will increase stability.
    Good luck on your project.

I used the 80% of bar length formula from Grizz and am still amazed at how stable the bridge hammock is...I was expecting a whole lot more rock and roll from it.

You might want to check the lengths of the triangle on each of the two hammocks and compare them to the % - might be interesting!

Hi Hairbear, looking forward to seeing you on another hang. Maybe someone will organize another winter hang this year. I really enjoyed the snow
last year. I plan on as many trips to quiver river as I can this fall and winter.

I hope to make the mid mo hang if someone finds a spot.
