    Thumbs up Ditching the bed.

Some unforeseen life events including a separation have me shopping for new bedroom furniture and I've come to a conclusion. I'm ditching the bed. I've had a king sized bed for years, nothing smaller than a queen, but I always said if for whatever reason I was single again, I'd just start sleeping in a hammock. It's a hammock for me for the foreseeable future. All that being said, I have zero knowledge of indoor hammocks. I don't even know where to start. I love my bridge but I'm thinking a proper indoor hammock might be better long term. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about your separation...that's never much fun

I told my hubs that I think we should hang our hammocks in the bedroom..much more comfy then the bed..lol

As for giving any suggestions..any of the hammock vendors here will be more than happy to help you out...they are all fabulous to work with.

    Good luck to you...

Take a look at tablecloth DIY if you're so inclined. We made ours in no time at all, and they are wonderful. Have never slept better.

If you like the BMBH UL,, and really love the bridges,,try the RR,,,as its wide,,super comfy,,and I sleep in it every nite. Day before yesterday got out my gathered end hammocks and set 2 of them up,,,and they just didn't feel the same and I couldn't find a sweet spot as so used to the bridge. But,,,they do make cotton bridge style hammocks for indoor hanging as well. I enjoy sleeping in my hammock every nite.

Hey Rook! Sorry ta hear of you goin solo. The bright side is if ya stay that way till MAHHA maybe you can do a post hike with the 'gang.' Just lookin on the bright side. The Bossa Nova XXL hammy looks like a winner for your new digs. It has a homey, furniture look to it. Good price too! Recommended by Cannibal. He knows some stuff about hammocks. I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

I have a red Brazilian hammock with a fringe. Super nice. Mine is 13' long and barely hangs on a Byer's of Maine stand ... Sags a lot.

The one shown is 14' so plan accordingly.
