    Hammock camping and bike riding

Last weekend I took my bike up to the Sierra Nevada's for some riding. It was perfect weather and I found some awesome logging roads to traverse.

    Loading up and heading out.

After sleeping in it every Saturday night for weeks in my backyard this was my first time taking it out camping. I absolutely love it and will never go back to a tent.

My wife and I enjoying the sunset.

Heading out for a day or riding.

Taking a break on the dam

Little Grass Valley Reservoir, the lake side.

    The other side

    The ascend

I made it up 8 miles on this road before it was time to turn around.

Back to camp a little dirtier. Unfortunately, there was no water (mud) to be found, just dirt.

Who says you have to rough it camping. I ran LED lights off a car battery at night.
