I am not sure where to put this. Has anyone camped at Maumee Bay and successfully hung? From the satellite views, it does not appear to have a lot of trees at the sights. I am making stands to bring, but would rather do it the old fashioned way.

OK, we went to Maumee Bay over Labor Day weekend. Great park and very pretty scenary. However, the trees are very limited at each campsite and the place is wide open. Not very hammock friendly at all. We hung at our site, but it was not the best place for it.

A concern over available trees is why I'm piecing together at least one stand, that way as long as there's one tree, I'll be fine.
We brought stands for both of us based on a earlier report. But, it was still not that great. I was able to find a couple of trees for my son.
