I got my TXW-250 today and replaced the rope with whoopies. The weight is now 2lbs 12oz. I did not even weigh it with the rope but the rope by itself is 6oz. I really can't see where I can shave anymore weight off without taking it apart and don't want to cut on a hammock that costs as much as this one. For me this will be for car camping and winter hangs so the weight is not a issue. I will probably even stuff it in my pack when I know I will run into bad weather but it is to bulky for a permanent spot in my packs.

The weight is without a trap. I will be using a Tadpole or a Bullfrog, (depending on the weather).
