    Comfort difference?

With the Clark sale in play, I'm compelled to expand my hammock collection, but can't decide which model to buy.

There have been several threads comparing comfort between the standard and longer versions of some hammock brands, but nothing on the Clarks.

The NX-150 is big enough for my size, but is the NX-250, with its extra 12" in length, more comfortable?

I've just ordered the NX-250, but I'm quite a bit bigger than you and figured I needed the room. I have read that people find it large enough to move around some which makes it easier to find a comfortable position.

I know this isn't what the thread is about, but
I was totally floored by the Vertex......
What a great way to hang with your significant
    other, or just your gear!

If you don't mind me asking Baja, what height are you and your hubby? I have considered the Vertex before for my fiancee' and I, but we are such different heights that I wonder if it would work. I am 6'-5" and she is 5'-3"...big difference

With the sale, the vertex is 450 not 599!

Yukon, your question makes me curious......
would height difference matter, or would the only
thing that would matter be if you fit?

I'm wondering if the size difference could change the
lay of the hammock? Interesting question.

I'm 6'3", broad shouldered, and over 300 lbs. the nx 250 is more comfortable then my bed. I think it solves all the problems that people have with hammock camping. You have a place to put all your gear, and you have enough room to change your clothes without getting out of the netting/weather shield.on a cold rainy night I can store all of my gear in the under pockets and then shove my pack in there as well, none of my stuff is on the ground.
Just a pro tip, make sure you adjust the suspension where you want it BEFORE you load all of your gearin the pockets.

    Dudorino:
The bigger hammock is a safer buy. The difference in price isn't that great.* Six months from now, when discoverers of hammocks for camping see an NX250 for resale, they'll more likely jump on it. NX150s have been a harder re-sell, though I am completely comfortable in mine and keep the NX250 for bigger guests.

(Of course some of the difference in price is due to the larger tarp included.)

    Comfort difference?

Thanks everyone. This was all great feedback. I'm going with the 250.

    Happy hanging to all!
