Even though I am near the olymic peninsula now i really hope to make this hang again especially after missing summer hang!!! Zugcat, coil, I may looking to coordinate a convoy or carpool

Also I thought frog lake was a rad site and the snowmobiles were barely a bother

Count me in from SW Washington. Took my daughter to Wahtum last weekend and she loved it. I told her about all the kids at the summer hang and she was interested.... have to work on our snow prep though!

Never been either lake, but after the summer hang I trust this group to pick a good spot. :-D

I've put this on my calendar. I started hammocking about a year ago and it would be nice to meet some like minded folks.

I'll be in my WBBB or BMBH with a 4 season OES tarp, thermarest pad and a Marmot Lithium Membrain bag.

I have yet to test my buddy PJ in the snow, but he'll get his first taste of snow camping soon enough. Pet friendly?

We had a dog there last year, just use your best judgment there.
I don't bring mine because I don't like that she cant get off the snow.
But that's not an issue for some dogs.

His first camping trip away fromt the truck required me to reach out of the hammock and curl him up in with me. That wasn't a very restful night. I'll learn how he handles the cold temps and decide well in advance.

Hmmm, a DIY, waterproof, breathable, durable, insulated and enclosed hammock chair for pooches....
