    Zing-it versus Dynaglide for guylines

The only difference I see between Zing-it 1.75 and Dynaglide 2mm is the slight difference in size and the strength.

Is there a reason that most people use the zing-it for guylines instead of Dynaglide?

Dynaglide is overkill. Save it for suspensions. Actually, Zing-it is stronger than it needs to be, too, but it's what I use for tie-outs.

It is more than a slight difference in strength. Also dynaglide is thougher to splice.

But if you ask really nice a certain elf will splice it when placing an order.

I'm running Dynaglide for my Ridgeline and Guy lines, though on my guy lines I used the yellow stuff for my prussics

I would take Dyna any day over Zing/Lash...anyday. Give me a mile of Dynaglide to splice and I am a happy guy...one ridgeline in zing/lash and <--- that happens.

I would agree if you are talking 1.75mm Zing/Lash-It. The 2.2mm Zing/Lash-It is pretty easy to splice. Sure it weights a bit more and has a greater breaking strength than 1.75. But the easy splicing wins out in the benefit category for me.

    Cheers
