Is that right? Or would it clip to the ridgeline with the hammock suspension in place?
Yep, but that might be the spot for a small split and some velcro about 6 inches long, to wrap around the suspensions or as you suggest, but probably would need to hook to the tarp ridgeline?

That's essentially the set up on the doors on my HH Hex. There's a split at the top where the suspension goes through and a clip for the ridgeline. I can see where having a zipper would make it easier to get in and out when there are doors on both ends. With a door on only one end, the point is moot.

Not everybody is going to go with two doors. Two doors makes more sense in winter as it will help with heat retention. But having two also makes sense if wind direction is going to be variable.

    Re: Door Kit is here.

So, any plans to make doors for the Big Daddy tarp?

Does the tarp have to be pitched relatively low & tight for the doors to fit? (makes sense, since they'd be used mainly in bad/cold weather)

I had my tarp set up for a few days before the door kit arrived and I didn't have to make any adjustment to get them attached and snugged up tight. The more you bring the sides down the more you can bring the center of the doors out (or probably in for that matter).

    I agree....

Did you DIY yours, or order them from someone?

I finally got the time to put my set on the Tadpole.
I can't believe how easy it is to attach to the tarp. I like the way it can be set up closed or with one side opened. I am going to play with this set for about a week or so and then I am going to start a passaround with them. Anyone that has a tadpole needs this door kit..
*Grab a set while its still at this price, (hint, hint).
