Hey Bucs...have you had a chance to do any more test drives with the quilt? I'm planning to do a similar TQ with APEX 5.0 and I'll trying to gather intell on patterns and how it works near 30F.

Have not had a chance to do anymore testing, but may be going for an overnight this weekend. Don't think temps will get down near 30 to really test it. Well see!
Did an overnight this weekend in Cohutta Wilderness (Chatsworth, GA). Perfect weekend for a hang. Low temps got to 38. Was very warm all night except for feet. Might have been warmer if I did the sewed footbox rather than cinched. I was wearing cheap Walmart long johns, Merino wool LS shirt and light weight Down puffer. My goals for quilt combo was mid to upper 30's which I think I definitely achieved. I really think I could get to 30 with this setup. Just need to work on my feet.
