    Hex Tarp hammock connection question

When you upgrade to the Hex tarp, how do you connect the hammock on each side? Does it come with connection points similar to the asym tarp?

    Thanks,
    Robert

    Hex Tarp hammock connection question

That thread was about the guylines on the sides. I think tri hanger is asking about the ends of the ridgeline.

If I'm right, then you probably don't want to attack it to the suspension and instead tie directly to the tree using a continuous ridgeline or maybe two separate lines at the end. The hex is really long and you will often not have enough room to tie it to the suspension like you can with the little tarp.

If I'm reading your Q wrong then yes, that thread is full of good info

I run a ridge line through the triangular rings, under the tarp, then tie prussiks onto triangle rings, so I can shift tarp toward head or foot, then draw tight with prussiks.

    Exactly what I do...
The hex has it's own ridge line. One advantage to this is I can set the tarp up in just a couple of minutes, then take time to set up the hammock and such, in the rain. It's also the last thing down in the rain, so nothing else gets wet.

Ditto. I use one prussik to tension it on a continuous line. Biners attach to the triangles.
