Personally, I use a whoopie sling suspension currently. The slings get wound up and stuffed into my blackbishop bag with the hammock and quilts.

The straps get used to attach the blackbishop bag to my Molly Mac Pack-style DIY pack. That way, I literally can't walk away from camp without 'em.

I use mini 'biners for toggles. Those get used on the pack to attach my Camelbak carrier to it. Again, I can't forget 'em in camp.

It slows set-up and break-down slightly, but that's a price I'm willing to pay for remembering everything (I'm a little absent-minded) and weight savings.

Whoopies stay with my hammock in the bishop bag, along with my bugnet. I also roll up my straps(with toggles attached) and stuff them in as well. A quick visual inspection tells me if I'm missing something.

I have a sil bishop bag, with a net/mesh pocket on the outside. the suspension line is gathered and put in the pocket, as are the tree straps. Makes it hard to forget something.

I unhook a whoopies and roll the hammock up with the whoopie inside. The second whoopie get wrapped round the hammock and stuffed in the pack.

Straps get stuffed in the mesh to dry out or rehooked onto a Dutch hook and wrapped round the hammock.

Slob? I like to call it time efficient

I keep my suspension attached to the hammock and it all goes in the double-ended stuff sack.

BTW: a whole lot of folks here are apparently referring to a double ended stuff sack as a "Bishop Bag," which it isn't. A Bishop Bag has a normal opening with a drawstring at one end and just a large buttonhole or grommet opening on the other end.

    Take it easy,

I use a whoopie hooks! I disconnect the suspension from my hammock which goes into a double ended " bishop" bag. The remaining whoopies and straps gointo a small mesh DIY stuff sack! The hammock goes into my pack and the mesh stuff sack is stored in the outside pockets of my pack! I never put any wet items inside my pack.
