Woot sale on a great 'casual/indoor' hammock!

These are usually $99 for just the stand:

Mom-in-law currently uses this hammock/stand combo as her bed and has no complaints

(the stand is also relatively portable though I wouldn't go backpacking with it or anything!)

do you think it's 9 feet at the bottom, but spreads out farther at the top? it says it's 10.8 ft long (130 inches) wondering where that measurement is from?

It's 9' from 'U' to 'U' at the top -- the 130" comes from the hammock length.

It accommodates everything from my 10' trek light (slightly tight fit but works) to my 13'+ Mayan. The way it folds over the stand to connect means it has an effective length of something like 15' long, give or take a bit.

Nice - thanks for the tip. Picked up one of the $99 ones for some basement hanging.

we don't have the materials to make a turtle dog stand, i wonder if this would work for my WBBB and mp3prozac's dangerbird? i worry about adjustability to get a comfy lie.

You can change the hook height to tweak angles and length.

It works great with the included hammock. However I had to remove my ridgeline to get my trek light double to hang. Any hammock with a lot of sag won't work on the stand. I would think shorter camping hammocks would be best.
