So I've been using one of the Table Cloth Factory 60" x 126" crinkle taffeta hammocks and I've noticed a couple spots that look like the attached image.
Is this normal aka just threads shifting or is this a rip in the making?

Not sure if its normal or if it will lead to a hole. But my table cloth hammock has a few spots that look similar and they haven't gotten any worse in almost a year. But I do keep my eye on them.
It's really hard to tell from the pic. Does it look like any threads are broken?

No threads are hanging out of the fabric. It looks more like the threads are shifted away from where they normally would be.
also location, right? if it is near a loose, flappy spot, it probably doesn't matter too much. if it bears a load, then i'd definitely keep an eye on it. i think i noticed something similar on my sage green one, but it was near the end and edge.
I've noticed some discolored spots on TCs that I've gotten I the past. I haven't had a failure, but it can't hurt to keep check it from time to time.
If you ain't havin' fun, you're doin' it wrong
