Welcome. I highly recommend hanging at home before going out into the field with all new gear. Keeping warm in a hammock is a little different from ground camping. In September you'll need some bottom insulation. Depending on the temps you may be able to get by with a close cell foam pad. I've used my cheap camping pad comfortably down to the mid-low fifties. Did you purchase a bridge hammock or something more traditional?
Doh! Now I see you have a Clark NX-150. Ignore every thing I said about insulation.
Run up to sinnamahonning state park. They have some great areas and beautiful scenery. My wife and I camp and kayak the alot.

Head up to pine creek. I love it up there. I went to penn tech in wilpo and we would head rock run above rollstin ( im sure im spelling that wrong) for hiking trips. Mainly day hikes though.
thanks For The Help. We Were Concerned About Not Having The Underquilts. We Will Most Likely Pick An Easy Trail That If Need Be We Can Bail Out In The Middle Of The Night And Head Back To The car.
Welcome to the forum from central California.
Happy Trails to one and all.
