That's Frontenac Provincial Park, which is beautiful - camped there last Thursday night. This weekend I'm going to North Frontenac Parklands which is east of Bon Echo Provincial Park. For those who haven't been there, check out their website.

Lots of backcountry crown land campsites and you can book them online. Might be a nice place for an EGL hang sometime.

So we might have an issue. Tracey thru her back out at work and isnt sure she will be up for canoeing. Means I will be out as well...we only have 1 car now. Will know more by the weekend.
Survival is about getting out alive, Bushcraft is about going in to live - Chard (aka Forest-Hobo)

Will do. Dont want to miss the trip but its kind of a long walk. lol.
I live very near Goderich. Way over on Lake Huron. Pretty far out of your way.
You're right. What if we moved the hang to The Pinery? If you could get to Toronto, I could drive you up from there. I got Thursday off (and so did my paddling partner, Kasuko) so I could go to Toronto Wednesday night, then drive up with you, pick up my rental and meet Kasuko at Rock Lake. We'll definitely need a few people in there on Thursday patrolling the island with machetes to ward off interlopers. Anyway, let me know. You can pm me and we can discuss as well.
