    Cinch Buckle Alert!

Well Guys' and Gal's! I called today to order up another order of my Military Type Cinch Buckles and was told that they are all out until the end of Sept. Funny thing she said, "Someone called on friday and bought every single one they had left, about 2000. They have 10K more being heat treated and plated but won't be available till late Sept, early Oct. OUCH!

So! To make a long story short. I am limiting my sales of Military Cinch Buckles and Lock&Load Cinch Buckle Belts to (4) per customer, until they restock.
Also: I am down to my last 50 of the plated ones and after they are gone will only have the black ones in stock.
Which cost me over twice as much per piece to buy. But I will sell them for the same price as long as I can.

Also: I am in talks with a local tool co and have already submitted drawing and got pricing for a similar cinch buckle but made with aircraft t6 aluminum. Very light, and a breaking strength of above 1000lbs. So far, everything looks and sounds good. Except for the cutting die price. (choke) and (choke) again.

    That is all....Carry on!

    triangle for amsteel

Since you are having the buckles made to your design how about having a triangle shape on the side away from the webbing.

This would keep our larksheaded amsteel from slipping to one side and
possibly cause the webbing to slip.

I don't think anyone makes buckles like that. I would replace all my
cinch buckles if I could get them with a V shape on the bottom.

Although, I don't use cinch buckles, I do appreciate you giving a heads up to stop any future possible problems. That is great that you won't jack up the price under a production stoppage and reduced product inventory. Very cool of you.

Another wonderful cottage vendor in our midst. Thanks for listening, I needed to say that.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

I would like to make a v-ring cinch but the problem is that you need two of them to make a single cinch. The equates to about $4- for one cinch buckle.
The design I am looking into is almost identical to the above cinch buckle, except stamped out of t6 aluminum. It will retail for between $1.50 and $2.00 and all you need is one to do the job that two v-rings would do. Granted, it will only have a safe working load of about 330lb to 400 lb but that would suit me and a lot of others just fine.
The rest will just have to lose some weight or continue using the steel ones.
Either way is ok with me.

I volunteer to test the new aluminum version. At 280 lbs I should be able find out real quick if they work or not.

I could start carbo-loading, and eat lots of chicken fried steak and frito-chili pie.
