Wow I've never had an issue with feet left or right.
That said feet left laying on my left size does feel flatter.
I have not noticed additional strain on the net while laying on my left side with my feet to the right.
I plan to watch out for that.
I happen to have my Darien UL out on the porch, great porch sleeping this time of year, so I too a couple picts.
Feet left the correct side.
Feet right.

Take a peek here for zipper options.

Here's the process of adding zipper sliders.

Ok, so like mattyg says, it's actually 3 zipper pulls.
Mounted on the zipper like so: --<=>---<== , foot end to head end.
Thanks for the links. I see now.
So you would have a 3 zipper pull on the side your head lays and a single on the foot side, for both net and overcover.
What about having the 3 zipper pull on the opposite side your head lays and making your entry/exit on that side? Will that scenario put undue stress on the net or cover when entering and exiting the hammock or just sitting and lounging?
I've been accustomed to laying right to left and entering /exiting on my left. If I have to adapt entering/exiting to the right with a right to left lay with the Dangerbird, I guess I will.
