Hello,
I've lurked on HF for a week and decided to join. I'm a Scouter who has spent way to much time on the ground! My oldest son is twelve so I'm trying tailor my equipment for the High Adventure activities that I know will be starting soon. So cots are out.
I haven't been in a hammock in over a decade and I've never slept in one. I love DIY and I can handsew and machine sew. Most of my sewing has been in natural fibers; cotton, linen, hemp, or wool. Nylon will be a new experience for me.
