Sandy Bottom is probably my most favorite place to camp and adventure. If you like off-roading, there are cool forest service roads near by. Plus, there's plenty of places to trout fish.

We ended up going to Wildcat Creek Campground. I'll try to put up a trip report, but it worked out fine. I hoped that he "RV unfriendly" access road would mean no RVs, but alas... Generators and chainsaws are not my idea of "getting away"
Dakotaross, I didn't even notice that Hemlock Falls was on the way to Wildcat Creek, so when we drove right by, I thought I had printed the wrong directions. We did some reconnaissance on the way back, and although I don't think we would have gotten the couple of sites that we saw on Friday evening when we drove in, it is definitely somewhere we'll try to get back to.
Thanks all,
Chad
