I just bought a used WBBB but the webbing for the suspension was not included. How long should my webbing be on each end? Planning to use the existing triangle buckles on the hammock and will either use carabiners to attach the webbing to itself or may try to find some old dutch clips on the forum that aren't being used anymore.
If this webbing length question has already been answered somewhere else you can just point me there...I was unable to find an answer anywhere.

15' is pretty standard for webbing suspension I believe. Though you can make it what ever you want or amy need.
Yeah 12 to 15 feet seems to do for most people.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Seen some folks on here talk about using some poly straps from Harbor Freight, so maybe I'll try those...especially since they are only about $4 and already have a loop sewn into one end.
ditto. I make mine 14-15 feet and use a constrasting color stiching so if it starts to wear and or break I can see it.

I bought a 4 pack of ratcheting straps from Northern Tool for $9. They are 1" green webbing rated at 900lbs. I think they're 12' long. Even comes with a little draw string net bag that I'm going to re-purpose for my bug net bag.
I took a dremel and cut the hooks off of two of the straps so the factory loop would be intact. I also sewed a loop in the other end just for the heck of it if I have a really long hang for some reason. If you do sew your own loop in any webbing be sure to use 100% poly thread. won't deteriorate in the elements unlike a cotton thread.
