    WBRR and the Lynx

Hey guys, I am thinking of ordering the lynx UQ from Brandon for my RR. I was thinking, will it work with my Big Agnes inflatable pad? I usually fill the pad half way or a little less and slide it in, it makes a great sleep even better. They Lynx should still fit under that correct?? I think it should but I thought I would ask the pros. As usual thanks for all of the help and the guidance I get from the great people here on these forums. Have a great day!

I wouldn't think you would even need the pad with the Lynx UQ..it is such a perfect fit like a glove..and the cons to the pad would be even compressing the down of the pad maybe to the point you would lose alittle heat from it due to the tightening of the Lynx by the pad being alittle inflated as its already such the fit "like a glove". Maybe someone else has tried this that can chime in.

I got a full length 0 degree Lynx for my wife's RR. We experimented with pads but never in combo with the Lynx. That said it should fit and I doubt it would compress the Lynx too much. As Acer said the Lynx fits like a glove though. Give it a try or three but I'd think the UQ comfort alone will end up being perfect. Like the quality fit and easy set up of this UQ and hammock very much...sure wish my heft was low enough to use it.

Why not rely on advice from Brandon?

Warbonnetguy has always kept on his web page advice on how pads can work with his products. I'd be sure he has tried the combination and used his wealth of experience to give good advice on the considerations.

If you ask, please post what his advice is in this thread.

That was always my thought. Use my exped 9 downmat plus the lynx plus the spindrift to get down to -20 or so for the really cold camping. Let me know how it works out. This info would put me over the top and I would order everything!!!

    Bottom only.
It does not matter what you choose for a spreader bar width, the lynx will be right where you want it.
