Sure, that would be fine - the muffin I mean.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

On the food front, I think we should have some sort of group type meal. Something to avoid mule and his crew carrying the load like at the HH. While I greatly appreciated the food and effort. I feel like it would be best if we planned and spread things out over a broader group of volunteers for this one. Thoughts?
    Directionally challenged...comicly so.

Not all who wonder are lost...But I'm probably just lost.

No roadie available to hulk the hammer in

I have a small pine and mahogany four string that's old enough to drink, about twice over. Weather permitting he's cleared to come along

Rats! Was hoping you were gonna say hammer. . . Wanted to see how you carried it in. I have a Meadowlark myself, would love it if it were more portable!

What are you guys talking about? Are you thinking of bringing a banjo?
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.

No, I have a Rick Thrum Meadowlark hammer dulcimer. Not really planning to lug it along over 2 miles of trail. I am slightly mad, but not suicidal.

Yes, I pick a little. I have brought it to a few outings but never played it more than 5 minutes. I even made a 2 lb banjo just for backpacking, but folks really don't want to hear a lone instrument out there. Same with my harmonica, its a waste to carry it.

    I've played tough rooms before.

One place the waitresses use to put the chairs up on the tables at the start of the third set.

But 5 minutes? I have songs longer than that

I hear you though, and can respect that train of thought.

Some probably look on it the same as dragging a boom box out into where it shouldn't be. With the banjo and dulcimer making the trip westward via the overland trail, both have well shared time around the fire rings of the past, and surely wouldn't hold it against anyone sharing that perception in the present.

Not a lock yet, but closing in on this one. Have the go ahead, just need to fit all the pieces into place. I just love to watch those wheels go round n round
