ahh that's where you did the 8 degrees . Well have to discuss that at the hang .
Did I mention we had 15 to 20 mph winds off the resevoir with our 14 degrees . ( just sayin )

What can I say . I like to play with maps . Bad news when all your contour lines join together to make one brown smudge . That usually means a cliff .

As long as you come in from the tower, a lot of that smudge is behind you to the south. Tower Ridge Road snakes across the top of the ridge on the high point for the most part. The loop trail runs at the base of that first drop.
I like maps too. I want to go theres!

The satelite photos sure do look a lot more benign then the topos . I/m not complaining . I looked for five years before I could find a place in Allen Co. with a bluff and a hill or two to buy .
