Is there water in the 2 creeks of Cresent? If not,,go down east,,following the creek and sooner or later you would find water there. Might have to go a mile or so at the most.

Jones hollow was absolutely beautiful the last time I was there.

I don't foresee water being an issue in the creeks surrounding the valley, we were there a few weeks ago and there was plenty and we've had a couple good rains since then

Plenty of clear water in April as creeks were at least half full and nice little holes of deep water pools of clean, clear water to filter. But,,dry August, and Sept..and now getting rain especially the 3.6 or so inchs we got last week, and more later this week. No need to pack a lot of water if there is a adequate supple right there.

Also means,,can pack more junk instead of water.

Yeah, I'm teetering on my first 20 lb pack load and don't need to run that up. It was a lot of time and work, and I sure can't do it hauling very much water.
