    Underquilt Storage Question

Hey guys...so I have a full-length underquilt...Wilderness Logics, Full-length, with 2 extra oz of down. Also have a topquilt. Wilderness Logics king sized, again with 2 oz of extra down.

Have been storing them loose up to this point, but the wife wants to see if I can pack them away slightly. So she got me a couple of cloth 'boxes' for lack of a better word. They're not stiff in any way, but they're rectangular shaped (24"x16"x12").

I wanted to get opinions on whether or not anyone thought this might compress the down too much, or if it may be sufficient for longer term storage as long as these are stored on top of anything else so that they're not compressed?

    Thoughts?

Pic attached, of course! (The nalgene bottle is there for scale)

They don't seem to bad to me. I tend to take mine out every once in a while and give it a good shake. Are those breathable however? Is the white material allowing for air passage? Otherwise, I would say no to these.

Remember laundrey bags, mesh or otherwise or pillow cases work nicely as well.

The top is vinyl plastic...sides are some kind of synthetic cloth. Relatively breathable...probably no worse than a pillow case, but not as good as a mesh bag for sure.

    Thanks for the feedback!
