Climbing Standing Indian this weekend!

Friend of mine's parents rented out a site out there at standing indian.

The whole purpose is my friends step-father is fighting cancer, and he has October reservations along with some friends for the Grand Canyon.

He's being doing this stuff all his life, he's just making sure he's strong enough still.

I on the other hand, live in a flat place called FL, so I accept this challenge!

If any fellow hangers will be out there, gimmie a holler!

I believe it's in NC, just north of the Ga/Nc border on the AT

It's near Franklin, NC. Really nice area.

You will experience some fantastic views from up there, not too hard a climb from the campground, and as a side note, you will pass through a lot of ramps. What are they? A mountain delicacy.
