What kind of food does one bring to eat at an outing like this. Is it like car camping where I should bring a Colman stove and cook or should I bring foods like Mountain house meals for easy cooking and clean up?

    Thanks

Do you mean for your own meals or the Saturday potluck?

For your own meals, whatever you like. At Watoga it is car camping at the campground. Some people bring foods like Mountain house and cook on their stoves. Some people bring regular food from the fridge that they can eat cold or reheat on a camp stove or a campfire. Some people will leave the park and find that nearest fast food joint or eatery. Pretty much anything goes.

Remember there is a Saturday pancake breakfast that Dutch provides if you want that. And the Saturday Potluck you just need to bring something to share. Some bring a bag of chips, some bring a few liters of drinks, or a side dish. You can see some of the stuff people are bringing on the google spreadsheet.

My husband will be trout fishing, so he may cook up some fresh fish on a campfire if he catches anything. Like I said, anything goes.
