We want to bring something that will be needed . We have done many a pot luck before but not for as many people as this and am not sure what is apropriate.

Donna here...how about some large bags of chips, doritos, fritos or pretzels. I didn't see any of that on the sign up sheet. I know there is potato and mac salad coming...but chips are always a big hit...especially with children....young and old.

Not a bad idea, but make sure that Dutch doesn't join; I'm afraid that will set up a resonant frequency that would split a healthy spruce!

You're quite welcome!! I wish I was coming...too many fun camping trips with Tim already this fall...not enough time to be away from the 2QZQ business. I look to plan on coming next year...with my pop-up camper.

It's pretty low key. It usually works like this. Look for all the hammocks at Riverside campground. Ask multiple hammock people where our campsites are. You'll get enough of a consensus to know the areas where we are setting up. Pick your hang spots, drop your stuff at your trees, put your vehicle in overflow parking lot. Then setup your gear.

WV is picking the campsites so he may chime in with more detailed info, but the above is how it works no matter where we camp.

Ear plugs for sleeping are always a good idea at a hang with this many people.
