    Thumbs up

My wife and i are IN!!!,my wife has alot of stored up vacation time that she must use or lose by the end of the year and wants to visit some friends in NC so we have decided to do it and attend this hang on the way down.

This will be our first group hang and we are really looking foward to it.
We were gonna attend one in pa but the campgrounds have been closed due to politics and this just makes a nicer vacation for us anyway.

Looking foward to meeting everybody and see you there!

Vendors decided that they didn't want to sell at the event. But there will be Dutchware in the raffle. That's for sure.

Good News! I can attend (with the wife) after all. I am a federal employee - DoD (and considered mission critical). When this shutdown mess started all non-furloughed employees had their leave canceled which includes the leave time I had approved to attend the hang. DoD has brought back most of the furloughed employees and will allow people in my status to take planned leave. Wonderful news!

Above is not meant to launch anyone into a political discussion about the shutdown (so please, please don't do that!). I have had a boatload of that in the last few days and I really don't need more. Just wanted to share the good news that I would be able to make the hang after all.

Aww, sorry to miss! I have an opportunity to participate in a Habitat for Humanity build day, which I have been wanting to do for some time. Have fun & I'll look forward to seeing everyone at the spring MAHHA hang!

    EB,

It is a good reason to miss the hang but we will miss you...Put a hammock in the bedroom when you finish it.
