Mt. Washington 3 - Nylon Loops

I just bought a lightly used Mt. Washington 3 with the JRB suspension for my WBBB. Rigging the suspension to the four (4) nylon corner loops is a snap. The UQ hangs great from the bottom of the hammock. But what are the two (2) 5" long nylon loops on the opposing long sides of the UQ for?
