Video: Yellow Buck Mtn And Beyond, NC-Part 1

Went to Wilson Creek area on Sunday for 3 days. The parking lot was full so I went a way to hopefully miss the crowds(hence the video title) (and it worked). It was a great trip with perfect weather. It couldn't have been better. I cut up a little on these videos, all in fun, just passing time and enjoying life. It's in 3 parts (sorry about that) but I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them.

On a side note, I use movie studio platinum 12 and a Nikon Coolpix 110 AW, shot and rendered at 1280x720x30 as always but this set gave me a fit. The program kept crashing during editing and rendering. I checked all my system components, couldn't find a particular corrupt file or anything to cause random crashing. I reinstalled MSP but that didn't help and also installed an update they came out with yesterday(no release notes). I got error messages about "I/O surrogate hidden", ntdll.dll problems, but never found an answer so I clipped it into small pieces and rendered it that way. What a time consuming pain! I'm concerned about the next time. I'd welcome any input...Thanks

That was awesome. Loved the video, the location and the hammock. ACU Digi camo is a personal favorite of mine as well. Right down to the end and a little "O Danny Boy". Made this ScotsIrish shed a tear.

Would so love to hang with you sir. You are right on my speed. Looking forward to parts 2 and 3.

Thanks DaddyDaddy, I haven't played the harmonica or fiddle enough lately to amount to a hill of beans but I still try. O Danny Boy.....you bet, that'll make you well up a little. Appreciate the invite, it might happen sometime. Thanks for watching.

That place is full of waterfalls, I didn't put a dent in them all. They are nice to just stare at. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for sharing the views of some of my old stomping grounds! Really have enjoyed the series.

Nice! That's the way to set up camp and relax after a climb and hike.

I like the name, Yellow Buck! You’ve got the world’s best hand grenades, I want one. lol The creek crossing and the waterfalls were all great! The camp talk with your hammy in the background was brilliantly framed! Kick it out of gear. lol I haven’t heard that one before! lol Oh, it’s finished. Lucky there’s a part two, or I’d be complaining that it’s too short!
