    Backyard New Gear Report

My custom HK2001 hammock, warbonnet mamajamba tarp and pair of hennessey cub hammocks all arrived at the post office Thursday. I picked them up on Friday. After a long work week and several crappy nights sleeping in the bed, why not test it out?

The hammock is lightweight, pitched easily, full of awesome features and just flat out comfortable. This will be my hunting hammock because it is lighter than my hennessey explorer deluxe. Mumbles is so very happy.

Tarp pitched easy too, such a lightweight package. Truly happy with this addition too.

Pics? Sounds like nice set up... You know we are all gear junkies and have a need to see others folks stuff...

Seems I can only load one. Attempting to add another replaces the first, not adding more.

Mumbles, glad you like yours .... I love my custom hk2001 too:

We joked about coming up with a name for my custom double layer, and he decided to call mine the Double Dog. So when he made my matching UQ, I called it the Double Dog Bun. The hammock lays flat and has everything I asked for. He doesn't know it yet but I will be asking him for a similar one in the near future. (hope he is okay with that.)

Just tossed my Jarbridge on quick. Fits well, temps hit 53* last night. Comfy and cozy. Slept soundly for the whole night minus a two beer relief break in the wee hours of the morning.

How's the color working for you Mumbles? I know most people stick with greens and camos, how to you like the grey?

The UQ shell is made from the same color material but the ends are trimmed out in the Blaze Orange. No one is home to get in the hammock or to take the pic of me in the hammock with the UQ situated. Once I get it perfectly adjusted I will trim the excess shock cord.

Gray is just fine. I would have bought it if it were lime green. My UQ is woodland camo. My hennessey under cover is brown, should I need to drab it up I can.

Last night in the WBBB with the new UQ, down to 53* and some light rain. Cozy! Tonight, already cooler, feels great and the rain is so soothing. Less back pain than sleeping in the bed, for sure.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the strength to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
