    Where to buy poncho liners

Im looking for any insight on a place to get multiple poncho liners for cheap.

Obviously ebay has tons, most of which are in fair shape or worse. Thats not to say theyre not serviceable, but if im gonna buy some, id rather have really good shape ones that dont smell like GI.

Found a few places online that have them for the $20 range as well, and those are used but very good condition.

My local surplus has them for $25, but IMO they arent worth the $25 theyre asking for, not good shape. Would require alot of repair to become serviceable.

Just kinda reaching out to see if anyones found a place that they like getting them from that is A: inexpensive (some places want $35-50 for one, ridiculous), and B: very good shape and dont stink. Dont have to be new, but the newer the better. Ill be using these to make UQ for myself and my two boys, so ill be doing some sewing on them. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

    I would try here:

    http://www.unclesamsretailoutlet.com/

They sell surplus military gear, most of it the older stuff that's been replaced and never used. It's kinda hit or miss as to whether they have them, but when they do, they're really cheap. I bought one for myself and my wife and I think they were only around $14 each.

There are different grades of military surplus. At the place I go, they are priced different according to their quality. On ebay, first look at the description of the merchandise, then look at the feedback for an idea of the quality of the seller's inventory.

A PL can be washed in a front loader machine. I would hang dry, then fluff with no heat. Be wary of low heat settings at a commercial laundry, it may still be very hot.

How many do you need? I got mine off e-bay and they were in great shape. Just be sure to read the description, some of the ebay ones tell you there are rips (usually the cheaper ones). If you need more than 1, don't buy the ones with "Free shipping" for $15. I got 4 for about $7 each. With combined shipping it was about $40 for the lot, or $10 each.

I got a lot of five off eBay for less than $50 with shipping. They were in very good condition. Poncho Liners are so handy.
