    DIY Gathered End

On my first ever PIF I got a tablecloth blank. I've been wanting to get a thread injector but when I have the spare funds I can find a deal and vice versa.

So I finally decided to go the gathered end whip method.

The whipping part was easy I had two spare dog boned that I made out of Amsteel, gathered the end wrapped the dog one around it twice then ran it thru one eye. Then snugged it TIGHT.

Then I tested it out, it works great.

Nice idea with the dog bone, I have been meaning to make up some of those, might give it a try.

I wouldn't want to fall asleep for too long attached to the truck though

Looks great. Don't forget to detach before hurrying out in the truck!

I imagine there is enough noise that you won't sleep through it if you all get a call.
